Watching some children at play,
Seeing their gleeful laughter and smiles,
Exuberating their childhood innocence and joy,
How I wish I were like them once again!
Enjoy each day when I awake,
Having no worries and anxiety;
Gone are those carefree days,
Taking simple joy at a stride;
Even in this silvery years,
Life is full of strife!
When can we experience a peaceful day,
Where there is no wars or killing?
Why must Man strive against Man?
Is this the law of survival?
Doesn’t each of them know,
That they both are brothers?
Must they be like Cain and Abel,
Perpetuating the crime of murder?
How can there be no wars,
When brothers are killing one another?
