No one cares if we live or die,
In this sea of overcrowded humanity;
Each is struggling to survive,
Or be drowned in this merciless sea!
Politicians will promise us anything under the sun,
Once in power they deliver none;
Strong nations weave their power,
Making weaker nations cower,
Submitting themselves as pawns in power play;
Employers work their employees to death,
So that they stay ahead of the rest!
In this dog-eat-dog world of ours,
The head ignores the cries of the heart;
Where empathy and mercy is blind-folded;
Who can hear the cries and see the miseries:
The common people drowning in the merciless sea!
