When I was very young,
I wanted to grow up fast,
To explore the exciting world so vast;
I begged Time to fly,
But it only crawled, dragged and sighed!
When I fell in love,
I wished that Time would stall and halt,
But it skipped and flew by,
Nothing I could do to stop!
Now I am old with age,
I neither beg Time to crawl or fly;
But Time continues to play this childish game,
Which I am not interested at all!
Let it play all that it wants,
I am free from all its bondage,
Now, I let Time pass by like a sage!
