Lum's space

A little boy shouting in glee,
As he dips his net to catch,
The fish he wants to possess;
The shoal helter skelter flee,
To escape from the doom!
Death is like the little boy,
Fishing us one by one;
Unlike the shoal, we have nowhere to run;
Just randomly wait for the net to strike!
Why are we so fearful of Death?
It is like sleeping when we rest,
Never to awake again,
To go through the grinding wheels of Life!
Death is the only exit door of Life,
Which leads to other worlds unknown;
Blessed is he who knows where he is heading,
Before Death summons us to his throne!
