A canary in a gilded cage,
Sings and sings all day,
He neither experiences hunger nor thirst
He can have his fill any time of day!
A lean black crow flits and flutters,
Looking for scraps of food in gutters;
No time to sit and caw,
To survive daily he cannot pause!
The crow is envious of the canary’s life,
He stands beside the cage to caw,
A missile almost hits him on the head,
He vanishes without a trace!
The canary laughs and despises the crow,
And prides himself of his talent,
A wise owl gives him this advice:
“YOU DO NOT KNOW THE MEANING OF LIFE!”
