SEASONS COME SEASONS GO

Seasons come and seasons go,
Older and older I seem to grow;
Silver hair and wrinkled face,
A toothless smile for a laughing face!
Colder and colder the seasons be,
Biting into my bones and joints with glee;
Faltering gait and shuffling feet,
Just like dancing the jig!
Muffled mumbling my voice sounds,
Slurring speech abound;
Foreign to others but not to self,
I communicate with myself!
Seasons come and seasons go,
But the seasons never grow old!
Things begin to wither and rot,
Seasons do not care a dot;
Older and older I become,
Life is indeed no more fun!
Below the earth I will sink;
Seasons will change its cycle to Spring!
