OPHANS

Orphans we are when our parents pass away,
Whether we are young or old;
Face the world together with our siblings,
Learning to stand on our own!
Blessed is he whose parents are still alive,
Cherish them now before they die,
Pointless to grief after they have gone;
Filial piety is here and now!
Show them your love and care,
Be considerate and attend to their welfare,
Do not consider them as a burden,
Or put them aside as ancient,
One day we too will grow old,
Let our children follow our example,
This is the golden rule,
DO UNTO OTHERS AS WE WOULD LIKE
OTHERS DO UNTO US!
