MEMORY AFRESH

The black and white photograph,
Has turned brownish through the years;
Nothing has changed since you left,
Almost a decade ago;
The face, the eyes and the look,
Still shows the love, warmth and care!
The face is just as youthful,
The eyes are just as keen and gleam,
The look is just as loving;
The mother I know as an infant,
Love and respect as an adult;
A father I have become,
I appreciate and am very thankful,
All the sacrifices you had been through,
Mother, I often think of you,
And I miss you so!
