PEARLS AND SWILL

Impatience brings forth much misery,
While patience solves many a problem;
Rash actions add more to the swirling flood,
While careful contemplation diverts impending disaster!
Fools act out of ignorance and impatience,
While the wise hold back with patience and contemplation;
Endurance increases and sharpens patience,
Which produces the seeds of wisdom,
Wise fools learn from their follies,
Pig-headed fools never from anybody;
The wise fortifies himself from adversity,
While the fool opens himself to face it unprepared;
Never cast pearls before a swine,
Whose natural feed is swill!
